The attack marks Ukraine's latest strike against the Russian Black Sea Fleet. The video cuts just as the Ukrainian drone slams into the vessel. A Magura V5 sea drone destroyed a russian speedboat in temporarily occupied Crimea. Ukrainian forces have heavily relied on their arsenals of Magura V5s and Sea Babies — another type of exploding naval drone — to damage and destroy scores Russian warships in the Black Sea. Still, Kyiv has managed to find success in targeting Russian vessels with its drones.

Ukraine said its forces took out multiple S-400 launchers during an attack on a Russian base. The strikes on the Dzhankoi base in Crimea this week destroyed or damaged four launchers, Kyiv said. The warriors from the 72nd Mechanized Brigade, with the help of drones, turned a convoy of russian tanks and IFVs into a scrap metal army. The route in to the village was dubbed the "road of death" due to the number of Russian soldiers killed.

Ukraine says it shot down three Russian Su-34 jets in one day. On Thursday, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine said it had shot down three Sukhoi Su-34 fighter-bombers that day. The reported kills extend what appears to have been a successful month for Ukraine's air defenders and a devastating one for Russian aviation. Last October, Ukraine said that it shot down five Russian Su-25 close-air-support planes over a 10-day period. Its defenders have relied heavily on American-made Patriot systems and other Western-made systems, but Ukraine also has various other systems at its disposal.

But the judge angrily told prosecutors that their questions to the witness had crossed the line. Jam Master Jay, born Jason Mizell, was shot dead in his recording studio on Oct. 30, 2002. After lengthy discussion, DeArcy Hall decided the trial could continue, with a caveat: She told jurors to disregard the two questions and their answers. Misorek was cleared to ask whether Washington “said anything else about Jam Master Jay's murder.”“Um, he just said that he killed him,” McDonald said, and that answer was allowed to stand. SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Defense attorneys for David DePape, the man on trial for the attack of former U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's husband in the couple's San Francisco home, will call witnesses Tuesday as they argue DePape is not guilty of the crimes he's been charged with. Defense attorney Jodi Linker told jurors last week that she won’t dispute that DePape attacked Pelosi. She said that means the charges that DePape was trying to interfere with Nancy Pelosi’s official duties don’t fit. After his arrest, DePape, 43, allegedly told a San Francisco detective that he wanted to hold Nancy Pelosi hostage. Defense attorneys have listed four possible witnesses: Daniel Bernal, Nancy Pelosi’s San Francisco chief of staff; extremism and antisemitism researcher Elizabeth Yates; federal public defender Catherine Goulet; and one unidentified witness.

President Joe Biden’s Cabinet secretaries will be advocating for the foreign aid to a mostly friendly audience in the Senate, where majority Democrats and many Republicans support tying aid for the two countries together. Despite growing questions about the Ukraine aid within the Republican conference, Senate GOP Leader Mitch McConnell has forcefully advocated tying the aid for Ukraine and Israel together. As they returned to Washington on Monday night, Senate Republicans who support the Ukraine aid were uncertain of the path forward. 2 Senate Republican, said it could complicate Democrats’ efforts to pass the two together if there were a bipartisan vote for the Israel aid alone in the House. In recent weeks, though, a growing group of Senate Republicans have joined the majority of House Republicans who are advocating to slow down or stop U.S. aid to Ukraine.

The Proud Boys sedition-trial jury will be picked Monday, out of a pre-vetted pool of DC residents. The defense teams plan to make one last-ditch venue-change motion immediately after the jurors are seated, according to a person familiar with their strategy. "It's not surprising that these potential jurors knew something about the Proud Boys and January 6th, particularly since they live in DC," Suter told Insider. Those views included "preconceived beliefs that the Proud Boys are a 'dangerous armed group,' a 'hate filled group,' 'racists,' and other clearly biased views followed by assertions that they nonetheless can be fair." Defense lawyers are very likely spending the weekend pouring over any public records on the 45 or so prospects in the pool, Suter said.
